Lazy Oaf has become a firm fashion favourite of mine in the past couple of years. Selling womenswear, menswear, accessories and stationary; Lazy Oaf has built up an amazing reputation for being a fun, individual ‘London’ brand and is rapidly growing a huge fanbase. Collaborations with the likes of accessories designer Fred Butler this season, whose clients include Lady Gaga and Nikki Minaj to name but a few, is catapulting Lazy Oaf into the definite ‘One To Watch’ category this season. Lazy Oaf also has their fair share of celebrity fans including Cher Lloyd and Susie ‘StyleBubble’ Lau.
Never failing to produce at least ten things I feel the need to own every season, its A/W11 preview collection remains up to par. Staying true to Lazy Oaf’s humourous and feel good graphic designs, the garments are bound to raise some smiles while walking down the street. Quirky oversized tees, with Lazy Oaf’s signature large cartoonish eyes, and a full set of teeth emblazoned on it, give a young and fresh update to a staple wardrobe item. Pom pom hats with primary coloured stripes and polka dots will lift anyone’s spirits on a cold winter day and the practicalities of the gorgeous ladybird-esque dotted ‘Clown’ rucksack just add to the charm. This collection is for the youth of today, and the young at heart. It is fashion at its best- fun, frivolous, feel-good and colourful! The Lazy Oaf A/W 11 collection will be available in-store and online from early September onward.
