Longleat Safari and Adventure Park, set of BBC’s Animal Park, offers VIP safari day packages all year round, offering you an unbeatable safari experience. The best bit? You don’t need to have any painful and expensive jabs to go!
Start your VIP experience with a quick registration and meet and greet before climbing aboard the zebra-striped Landrover to begin your safari. Your guide will be an expert on all of the animals at the park and will happily answer all of your questions as well as telling you lots
of funny anecdotes. A Longleat safari is always memorable, but a VIP safari guarantees that you will get closer to these animals than you ever imagined. Normal rules about keeping your windows closed when you are near the biggest predators, aren’t in place when you are a VIP (as long as you are sensible), so, go for the window seat and if you are lucky an ostrich, or even perhaps a giraffe, might stick his head through to say hello!
Even after the safari ends your VIP experience continues: after a quick tea break those of you brave enough will have the chance to hold both a real python and a tarantula in Pets Corner. Then top off your day with a guided tour of Lord Bath’s private rooms, including his Karma Sutra room! Furthermore, if you go on the VIP day when Longleat is also open to the public (February-November), you will have the choice of doing your VIP package in the morning or the afternoon and you will have the rest of the day to check out all of the park’s other attractions; including a boat safari to get a better look at Nico, the park’s famous gorilla, that lives on his own island and spends his days throwing sticks at the sea lions to shut them up and watching SKY TV!
There are two main VIP packages available: the winter package running from November to February and costing £85pp and the summer package running the rest of the year also for £85pp. A premier package is also available for £500pp. Bookings can be made on Longleat’s website: www.longleat.co.uk
And if you fancy continuing the VIP treatment for a little bit longer, stay the night in close by Bath and relax in a thermal spa after your safari day.
