Experimenting with different varieties of lip wear allows me to cope with winter’s, at times, lackluster ambiance.

Last week, Maybelline’s most recent collection, Baby Lips, toddled past my eye in the pharmacy. The product’s presentation is undeniably lovable. After large block letters and bright colors, reminiscent of babyhood’s Crayola palettes skewered my wits, I delivered myself to the cash with not just one, but two flavors of this sensational solace in hand.

A succulent portrayal of Jaws!

The balm pledges to give the wearer an undeniably loveable oral cavity thanks to the product’s undisclosed lip renewal formula, containing spf 20. After four weeks of use, lips will be not merely kissable, but baby soft.

After using the product for several days, I am uncertain whether my lips have benefited in terms of “rejuvenation.” In truth, I find drinking several glasses of room temperature water throughout the day to evade chapped, crackling lips during winter months. Nonetheless, this product was super fun to use!

The colors, six in all, range from transparent nude to radiant cherry and are relatively sheer. The beam after application is lucid, yet splendid. I sampled the peach kiss and pink punch. Both flavors live up to their titles in terms of scent and character. The former appears as soft, sensual and slightly enigmatic while the latter is adorably persuasive.

There is no need to be overly careful with this product’s application (making it great when on the go, at times when a mirror is not near). Pretend to be a kid smearing on mom’s lipstick. However, this time after the treatment, lips appear full, moisturized, and slightly tinted rather than caked over in a red, wax-filled paste. One disadvantage to the balm is after eating and drinking with it on it does smudge. Reapplication is necessary.

Peach kiss for flavor-FULL lips

Retailing in most stores for under five dollars, this product is definitely one I will keep within reach whilst being out and about…at least until something new or better comes along!
